German author Cornelia Funke is very popular. The Thief Lord was such a hit that they made it into a movie. We have a few copies of that book in the SRR and it is often signed out. It also managed to place number 10 on the Teens' Top Ten list in 2003.The next year, 2004, Funke had another hit with the popular Inkheart book which also managed to place number 5 on the Teens' Top Ten list. BTW, we have a copy of it in the SRR also!
If you enjoy Funke's books, we have a copy of Dragon Rider in the SRR as well.
Ghost Hunters is another series that she wrote in 2006/07. It will make a welcome addition to the SRR, especially for all the Funke fans in the school.
